Oud Muattar Khawaater (35gm) by Khadlaj features refreshing top notes of bergamot and musk, floral heart notes, and a warm woody base, making it versatile for year-round use, especially in evenings or cooler weather.

Fragrance Notes & Season:

• Top Notes:

Bergamot, Musk (fresh, enticing opening)

• Heart / Middle Notes:

Jasmine, Violet, Rose (delicate, elegant floral touch)

• Base Notes:

Oud, Sandalwood, Patchouli (deep, rich, warm foundation)

• Best Season:

While pleasant year-round, the warm and rich blend of oud, patchouli, and sandalwood makes it exceptionally cozy and fitting for autumn and winter, as well as cool spring/summer evenings or special gatherings.

How to Properly Use Bakhoor:

1. Prepare Charcoal:

Light a natural charcoal disc with metal tongs using a lighter or stove flame until it sparks and glows orange.

2. Form Ash:

Wait 3 to 5 minutes until a thin layer of fine grey ash forms over the top of the coal. This ensures the heat is steady and prevents the bakhoor from burning too fast.

3. Place in Burner:

Transfer the glowing coal safely into your traditional burner (mabkhara or medkhan). Placing a small piece of foil under the coal can protect the burner from direct heat.

4. Add Bakhoor:

Place a small piece of Oud Muattar Majnoon (about the size of a fingernail or thumbnail) directly on top of the ash-covered coal.

5. Scent Space & Fabrics:

Let the fragrant smoke drift naturally through a ventilated room. To scent clothing, hold garments safely about 30 centimeters above the burner for 10 to 20 seconds so the fibers absorb the aroma.

6. Clean Up:

Remove the spent bakhoor piece after 15 to 20 minutes to avoid bitter, burnt smells, and let the charcoal cool completely before disposing of it.
