Bakhoor Asdaaf (70g) by Khadlaj Perfumes is a luxurious Arabic home fragrance known for its rich, multi-layered scent journey.

Fragrance Notes:

• Top Notes:

Bergamot, Rose (provides a fresh, bright, and floral opening)

• Middle (Heart) Notes:

Plumeria, Musk (adds a soft, elegant, and serene touch)

• Base Notes:

Agarwood (Oud), Patchouli (gives a deeply grounding, warm, and smoky foundation)

Best Season to Burn It:

Because of its unique blend, Bakhoor Asdaaf is highly versatile:

• Primary Seasons:

Fall and Winter. The heavy, warm base notes of oud and patchouli thrive in colder weather, wrapping your living space in cozy, long-lasting warmth.

• Secondary Seasons:

Spring. The fresh citrus of bergamot and the floral notes of rose and plumeria make it light enough to enjoy during warmer blooming months.

How to Properly Use Bakhoor:

To get the most luxurious and long-lasting scent without a harsh burnt odor, follow these steps using either a traditional charcoal burner or an electric burner.

Method 1:

Traditional Charcoal Burner (Mabkhara)

1. Light the Charcoal:

Grab a quick-light charcoal disc with metal tongs and hold it over a flame (lighter or stove) until it begins to sparkle and crackle.

2. Let it Ash Over:

Place the lit charcoal inside your heat-safe burner. Wait 1 to 2 minutes until a thin layer of gray ash covers the top. Tip: Putting bakhoor directly onto glowing red-hot charcoal burns the oils too fast and produces a bitter, scorched smell.

3. Add the Bakhoor:

Break off a small piece of the Asdaaf tablet (about the size of a coin or pea) and place it gently on top of the ash-covered charcoal.

4. Scent Your Space & Fabrics:

Let the fragrant smoke waft through the room. You can gently wave your clothes, abayas, or hair over the rising smoke to lock in the aroma for the whole day.

5. Keep it Short: You only need to let it smoke for 10 to 15 minutes to scent an entire home.

Method 2:

Electric Burner

1. Line the metal dish of your electric burner with a small piece of aluminum foil to keep the burner clean from melted resins.

2. Place a small piece of Bakhoor Asdaaf on the foil.

3. Turn on the burner. It will warm up gradually, releasing a softer, cleaner, and less smoky version of the fragrance.

⚠️ Safety Reminder: Always place your burner on a stable, elevated, and heat-resistant surface away from curtains, children, or pets. Never leave burning charcoal unattended.
