Fragrance Notes & Seasonal Guide:
Oud Muattar Majnoon (50g) by Khadlaj Perfumes is a luxurious home incense consisting of premium agarwood chips deeply marinated in rich fragrance oils.
• Top Notes:
Bergamot, Lavender, Oud
• Heart Notes:
Cinnamon, Cardamom, Sandalwood, Musk
• Base Notes:
Amber, Leather, Saffron
🍂 Best Season:
Due to its dominant, heavy profile of warm spices (cinnamon and cardamom), heavy leather, cozy amber, and smoky agarwood, this bakhoor is best suited for Autumn and Winter. It provides a deep, comforting, and velvety warmth that perfectly complements cold weather.
How to Properly Use Muattar Bakhoor:
"Muattar" means the incense consists of actual cut wood chips soaked in oils (rather than compressed powder). To extract the pure aroma without burning the wood too quickly, follow either the traditional charcoal method or the electric method:
Option 1: The Traditional Charcoal Method (Best for Intensity):
1. Light the Charcoal:
Use metal tongs to hold a quick-lighting charcoal disc over a lighter or match flame until it begins to crackle and spark.
2. Let it Ash Over:
Place the lit charcoal inside your mabkhara (incense burner). Wait 2 to 5 minutes until the entire disc glows red and forms a thin layer of grey ash on top. Placing bakhoor on a naked, flaming coal will scorch the wood and cause an acrid smell.
3. Use Aluminum Foil (Pro-Tip):
For a slower burn and easier cleanup, place a small piece of aluminum foil over the hot coal before adding the incense.
4. Add the Bakhoor:
Place one or two chips of the Oud Muattar Majnoon on top of the ash/foil. It will immediately release a thick, fragrant smoke.
5. Circulate and Remove:
You can carry the burner carefully around the room to spread the fragrance. Remove the chip after 15–20 minutes (before it burns down completely to the raw wood) to avoid a bitter, charred after-scent.
Option 2:
The Electric Burner Method (Best for Everyday Use):
1. Place your electric mabkhara on a flat, stable surface and switch it on.
2. Place a single chip directly onto the metallic heating plate.
3. The burner will heat up gradually, evaporating the aromatic oils cleanly with minimal heavy smoke. Turn it off after 10–15 minutes once the room is sufficiently fragranced.
⚠️ Safety Reminder: Never leave a burning incense holder unattended, keep it on an elevated surface out of reach of children or pets, and ensure your space has adequate ventilation.
