How to Properly Use Bakhoor / Oud Muattar:

1. Prepare the Burner:

Place a piece of aluminum foil inside your traditional charcoal burner (mabkhara) to prevent overheating.

2. Ignite the Charcoal:

Hold a quality charcoal disc with metal tongs and light it using a lighter or stove flame until it glows orange.

3. Wait for Ash:

Let the charcoal sit for a few minutes until a thin layer of grey/white ash forms across the top. This ensures an even, smooth burn instead of a harsh, smoky smell.

4. Add the Incense:

Place a small thumbnail-sized piece of Oud Muattar Rimaal directly onto the center of the hot coal.

5. Scent the Space & Fabrics:

Allow the fragrant smoke to drift naturally. You can gently wave garments or scarves near the burner to let the lingering aroma cling to your clothes.
